Leading Intentionally

Let's keep it 100! It's not always easy to stay on top, to be in the right spot, and most of all make the right decisions; this does not come by osmosis, this begins with deciding to be an intentional leader. When you are leading it requires focus, direction, planning, communication, resetting, and many times grit! What makes the most successful people successful is the measure of things they intentionally set out to do. Things won't just happen by only a thought; it happens when the idea get's placed in motion and you decide to walk this thing out. Truth, many are frustrated right now, kill it! Let's talk for a little bit if you don't mind about what it takes to lead with the right intentions, not any intentions but the ones that will allow you to secure your life!

I have five practical steps of leading with intentions that I want to share with you.

1. The Swim: Many people believe that just because they operate in a position of headship they are a leader, you have to swim past the title to reach the practical point of executing though people. Deciding to show up to work is not active it is responsible, many fail to swim upstream realizing that just because you jumped off the diving board into the pool that you are swimming in an upstream direction. Stay at the bottom of the pool to long and see what happens, you might be wet and in the deep, but you won't be alive long. Leading intentionally means that you understand you must cross waters, this requires you to swim and not just jump, it says be present and purposed.

2. The Plan: "A Plan Without A Goal Is Just A Wish" - Herm Edwards. We have all heard this quote at some time in our life; truth be told it is just what it is a wish. Planning is critical to be intentional if you have a website and blog, when do the blogs get written? How do you follow up with clients, when and how? How do you prepare for your next quarter, when is the brainstorming time slot? Planning is one of the areas you must have diligence and self-control, this is the one that if you are not genuinely intentional you will find a lot of wasted time and space. The most successful business did not happen by a simple wish, it was planning and implemented, measuring and planning again. Planning had to be something that was on purpose and very calculated. One of my favorite scriptures that remind me that God is intentional and created us to be the same is Isaiah 43:18-19 Remember not the former things, not consider the things of the old. Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will always make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.

What do you do in the wilderness and desert places??? How do you intentionally plan that you prosper just as we just read? Not sure....... I am ready to assist you with that; there are three more points of being an intentional leader, I want to share this with you, I want you to maximize your potential and move into the next level.

You deserve it, it is time to secure your life.....

It's time what are you waiting for? Be intentional and let's go out and change the world!
